Even during the staff's first morning meeting, you could tell this show was headed on its way to greatness. The humor was always funny and smart, if not offbeat. The characters were all well-established in this episode as the city went through the garbage strike, although they all slightly evolved through the season. Even though the show was meant to be centered around Mike, many of the characters stole their respective scenes. This was a great season, and it kept me laughing the whole time. We got to experience Mike and Ashley’s relationship and the recover, but Mike wasn’t the only one with relationship problems. The mayor got divorced and Nikki had some weird dates, however Paul ended up together with Claudia in a great relationship.
It's hard to imagine, but Paul had the most normal relationship of anyone on the show.
